WordPress – Insert Media
In this chapter, we will learn how to Insert Media in WordPress. Media files such as images, audio, and videos can be added to your posts or pages from the media library, local storage, or via URLs.
Follow the steps below to insert media in WordPress:
Step (1) − Go to your WordPress dashboard and click on Posts → Add New.
Step (2) − Click on the Add Media button.
Step (3) − You can select the required files from the Media Library tab, as shown in the following screenshot.
Details of the selected media file will be displayed on the right side of the screen under Attachment Details. From here, you can view and edit information such as URL, Title, Caption, Alt Text, and Description. Click on the Insert into Post button to add the media to your post.
Alternatively, you can upload a file directly from your system by clicking on the Upload Files tab. After selecting the file, click on the Insert into Post button to insert it into your post.
