WordPress – Theme Management
In this chapter, we will learn about theme management in WordPress. Themes include image files, templates, and CSS stylesheets that enhance your website’s appearance. This chapter explains how to install, add, and customize themes in WordPress.
Follow the steps below for theme management:
Step (1) − Go to Appearance → Themes from the dashboard.
Step (2) − The themes page will be displayed. Hover over any theme and click on Theme Details.
Step (3) − When you click on Theme Details, a page will appear displaying information about the theme, such as its version, description, tags, and other details.
If you want to apply the theme to your website, click on Activate. If you only want to preview the theme before applying it, click on Live Preview.
When you click on Activate, a pop-up message will be displayed as follows:
Step (5)− On the left side of the page, you can customize your theme. Any changes you make, or anything new you add, are displayed on the right side of the page.
