WordPress – View Plugins
In this chapter, we will learn how to View Plugins in WordPress. Plugins add unique features to your website and extend WordPress’s functionality, allowing you to enable or disable them as needed.
Follow the steps below to view plugins:
Step (1) − Go to your WordPress dashboard and click on Plugins → Installed Plugins.
Step (2) − You will see a list of all the plugins currently installed on your site, as shown in the following screen.
A table listing Plugins and their Descriptions is displayed. The Plugin column shows the names of the plugins, while the Description column provides a brief overview of each plugin’s functionality.
Toolbar – The following options appear in the plugin toolbar:
- Active − Displays plugins that are currently active on the website.
- Inactive − Displays plugins that are installed but not active.
- Update Available − Indicates if a plugin has a new version available or prompts you to update it.
